USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68) Ombudsmen

Currently, we have two Ombudsmen: Apryl Woods and Sarah Otto.

What We Do...

As Ombudsmen, we have many roles. Our purpose is to support and follow Command policy in order to carry out our mission, which is to serve you, the families of our Sailors. We are Official Command Representatives, appointed by the current CO. We are his voice to you, and we are your voices to him.

Apryl and Sarah were appointed in February of 2008.

Hi and Welcome to the Family!!

My name is Apryl Woods. I am very honored to be one of your Ombudsmen. I assure you that I am here for you night or day if you need me. The Command is very supportive and we live by the motto "We Stick Together"!
